Sen. Baker informed us this morning that he plans to run the Tim Tebow home school bill (SB 842) this Wednesday in the Senate Education Committee.  I am not sure what time the committee will meet; it will be either 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM.

Any home schoolers wishing to be present during the debate should plan on arriving at the Capitol Building in Little Rock before the meeting begins. If you need directions to the Capitol, please contact us at (501) 978-5503.

As we’ve said before, Sen. Baker’s Tim Tebow home school bill will allow home schoolers to participate in extracurricular activities in their local public school district. These activities include athletics, fine arts, band, and so on. More on the bill may be found here and here.

If you would like to get in touch with your Senator about the bill, you can call (501) 682-2902.  Be sure to check back for more information as events unfold.
