Since its organization under Family Council, The Education Alliance has increased the size of its state-wide network of home school families from 500 to over 4,000.
The Education Alliance holds Arkansas’ two home school graduations across the state – one in Searcy with over 100 graduates and one in Bentonville with about 20 graduates.
The Education Alliance has lobbied the Arkansas Legislature since 1999, providing expert testimony and other information to defeat bad home school legislation.
The Education Alliance has also had the opportunity to work with the Arkansas Department of Education and other state agencies in efforts to improve education conditions around the state.
It has conducted media interviews on home schooling.
The Education Alliance also provides free home school packets to parents who are considering the option of home schooling.
The E.A. staff works to provide free consulting and advice regarding anything related to home schooling.
High school transcripts are also available upon request for a donation of any amount.
Monthly update letters are also sent to everyone on the mailing list, keeping people informed on current education issues.
The Education Alliance also provides free e-mail alerts to everyone on its e-mail list.
Over the last few years The Education Alliance staff has conducted numerous speaking engagements all over Arkansas.
