Jerry Cox
President

Jerry is the founder and president of Family Council.  He began Family Council in 1989, and has worked on home school issues for over 20 years.  Family Council started the work of The Education Alliance in 1998. Between fundraising, public speaking, leading the staff, lobbying, and writing, Jerry maintains an active role in ensuring that The Education Alliance continues to serve the people of Arkansas. He and his wife reside in Little Rock. They have four sons.

Lisa Crook
Director

Lisa worked at the Arkansas Department of Education for 30 years–including 10 years in the department’s Home School Office–before joining the Education Alliance in 2015. Lisa is a graduate of McClellan High School and she attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She and her husband have been married for 28 years. They have two daughters.
