Several news stations covered the Senate Education Committee meeting yesterday over Senator Baker’s proposed Tim Tebow home school bill, which would allow home school students to participate in extracurricular activities at their local public school. Sen. Gilbert Baker’s SB 842, the Tim Tebow home school bill, was voted down today in the Senate Education Committee. If you followed our Twitter feed this morning, you probably saw that several senators wanted to review the bill during the interim. After being voted down on a voice-vote, the bill was referred for further study between now and the next legislative session.
Senator Gilbert Baker’s Tim Tebow home school bill, SB 842, is scheduled as a special order of business in the Senate Education Committee tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM. Senator Baker plans to present the bill at that time for the committee’s consideration.
