{"id":622,"date":"2011-10-10T09:15:23","date_gmt":"2011-10-10T16:15:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/arkansashomeschool.org\/?page_id=622"},"modified":"2020-02-07T10:56:04","modified_gmt":"2020-02-07T17:56:04","slug":"drivers-license","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/arkansashomeschool.org\/index.php\/free-info\/drivers-license\/","title":{"rendered":"Driver&#8217;s License"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Requirements as of 2019<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>As of July 2019, students enrolled in a home school no longer have to bring a notarized copy of their notice of intent form when they take the written portion of the Arkansas driver\u2019s test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students seeking a driver&#8217;s license will need to show two forms of identification: An original or certified copy of a birth certificate and a secondary form of ID.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s a list of secondary forms of identification the Arkansas State Police will accept:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Arkansas State ID or Valid Out of State License<\/li><li>Photo Work\/School ID<\/li><li>Vehicle Registration and\/or Title<\/li><li>Bureau of Indian Affairs\/Indian Treaty Card (No Tribal Card)<\/li><li>Marriage Certificate or Marriage License<\/li><li>Health Insurance Card (includes Medicare\/Medicaid and AR Kids until age 19)<\/li><li>IRS\/State Tax Forms (W-2 Form is not accepted)<\/li><li>Court Order (Must be signed and sealed)<\/li><li>Concealed Handgun Permit<\/li><li>Certified School Transcript<\/li><li>Pilot License<\/li><li>Court Records<\/li><li>Prison Release Document or Sentencing Order<\/li><li>Military Photo ID\/Military Dependent Photo ID or Armed Forces Discharge Papers (DD214)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Arkansas State Police has confirmed <a href=\"https:\/\/arkansashomeschool.org\/index.php\/services\/high-school-transcript\/\">they will accept an Education Alliance transcript<\/a> as a certified school transcript; if you would like help getting a transcript, call our office at (501) 978-5503. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Requirements as of 2019 As of July 2019, students enrolled in a home school no longer have to bring a notarized copy of their notice of intent form when they take the written portion of the Arkansas driver\u2019s test.
