Ask the Readers: Video or Textbook (Or Both)?

A couple of weeks ago we asked you what your favorite curriculum was.  We got so many responses through our blog, our Facebook page, and Twitter, that we thought we would pose another question: Does your family use textbooks, videos, or both as part of your everyday home school curriculum?

In the last decade, the Internet, DVDs, CDs, and multimedia in general have made information more accessible than ever before. Many curriculum providers that previously specialized in textbooks now offer companion DVDs; some new companies publish almost nothing but CDs and DVDs. what do you use?

We want to hear from you. Leave your thoughts below, on our Facebook page, or on Twitter, and tell us how your family does things: textbooks, videos, or both? Also, feel free to leave a few thoughts for any new home schoolers who may be weighing their options on curriculum.

Also, don’t forget that you’ll be able to purchase all kinds of curriculum at our upcoming home school conventions in Searcy and Springdale.
