Vision

1. Host two Arkansas Home School Conventions each year, one in Springdale and one in Searcy.

2. Secure the passage of state legislation that is favorable to home schools.

3. Defeat state legislation that is unfavorable to home schools.

4. Work with the Arkansas Department of Education, the Governor’s Office, and other state agencies to secure policies that are favorable to home schools.

5. Serve as Arkansas’ largest state-wide home school organization.

6. Conduct media interviews regarding home schooling.

7. Educate public officials and educators about home schooling.

8. Provide home school information packets to individuals interested in home schooling.

9. Provide free notice of intent and waiver forms to every home school family on our mailing list.

10. Provide high school transcripts for home school students.

11. Provide free consulting services to home schoolers.

12. Send a monthly update letter to every home school family on our mailing list.

13. Conduct speaking engagements in churches, home school groups, and civic organizations.

14. Serve as a discount group for the Home School Legal Defense Association.

15. Assist home school students with their efforts to gain admission into college.

16. Assist local home school support groups.
