Arkansas State Rules and Regulations

Home Schools have been legal in Arkansas since 1985. The Arkansas Legislature conducted a major overhaul of Arkansas’ home school laws in 1997. The Home School Legal Defense Association ranks Arkansas’ home school laws as near in the middle. States such as Oklahoma and Texas have fewer restrictions on home schools, while states like New York and Pennsylvania have more restrictions.
